  • Denise has been in the business of Social and Ballroom Dance since 1973.

  • She has owned and operated studios in Miami, Atlanta, and, most recently, Colorado. 

  • She is a former World West Rising Star Professional Champion.

  • She has been awarded Top Instructor and Top Studio internationally five times. 

  • In 1981, Denise received the prestigious title of Master Examiner (Ballroom Dance Judge), awarded by the president of the American Ballroom Company. 

  • Her noteworthy professional performances include ABC Television & Turner Broadcasting.

  • She was a featured performer on the Dirty Dancing Tour with Vestron Films. 

  • She has taught, performed for, or worked with former President Richard Nixon, Ambassador Andrew Young, Evander Holyfield, Celia Cruz, Rod Stewart, Patti LaBelle, and Gloria Estefan. 

  • Musical credits include appearing with Grupo Niche, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Kaoma, Miami Sound Machine, Arturo Sandoval, and the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. 

  • She was a Preliminary Talent Judge for the Miss World Pageant in 1989 and an onstage performer on the Miss America Pageant circuit for three consecutive years. 

  • Denise's most notable performance was as a featured halftime performer at Super Bowl XXIX with Tony Bennett and Disney Productions.
